RAPID REVIEWS
New year and new opportunities. I finished quite a bit this month only because I was down to the last bit last month but never got to them due to the holiday’s. This year I won’t be keeping any empty packaging because of the clutter – but I will try better to share my empties on a more consistent basis.
Emptied 18 products with a total value of $625~
- Body Care Products::
- First Aid Beauty – KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub – $30
- I’ve emptied a few of these bottles. I always use it before and after shaving sessions. It helps exfoliate the skin without drying the area. It helps with ingrown hair issues and sensitive skin tugging issues. Works like a charm.
- Murad – Vita-C Triple Exfoliating Facial – $88
- Wow – this is a pricey exfoliating facial. This took me forever to use because I was trying to find the perfect use for this. I ended up using it on my underarms, elbows, and knees – areas where I struggled with dark hyperpigmentation problems. This worked like a charm! It help brighten my skin and left my skin feeling smooth as well.
- Murad – Quick Relief Colloidal Oatmeal Treatment – $49
- Wow I didn’t realize the price point! I used this primarily on my nipples LOL. It kept it from cracking and relieved any itchiness problems. I also did use it on spots on my skin that were really itchy especially during the winter months.
- Maelys – Re-Vamp – $69
- I surly noticed an increase in my chest and butt area. However I did not use as instructed because I kept forgetting. You are supposed to use it 2x a day but I only did it 1x per day. The product smelt amazing too. If it wasn’t so pricey – I would repurchase for sure.
- Clindamycin Topical Lotion (derm prescribed) – $20
- This is an ongoing empty that has continuously worked well to keeping my body acne at bay. Keeps my skin hydrated.
- First Aid Beauty – KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub – $30
- Haircare Products::
- Vegamour – Scalp Detoxifying Serum – $42
- Pre-wash scalp treatment is so helpful – this makes my scalp cleaner and even last longer between a hair wash. I can get up to close to a week (with no gym sessions) and every 3rd day (with gym sessions).
- Living Proof – Triple Bond Complex – $45
- I used this religiously to help with split ends – it worked. Unfortunately, my ends were still dead at the end of the day because I was overdue for a hair cut. I still will try this again when I can get back to a regular schedule of hair care.
- Olaplex – No. 4D Dry Shampoo – $30
- I enjoyed the scent / unscent of the spray. However it didn’t do a good job to reduce oily from my scalp. It was still a bit shiny and I was still itchy due to the dandruff.
- Vegamour – Scalp Detoxifying Serum – $42
- Skincare Products::
- Peach & Lily – Copper Peptide Pro Firming Serum – $49
- I finished this serum so quickly! I love how it plumped my skin and help firmed some lines along my neck and forehead. It’s pricey one but worth it to try again to help for longer term results.
- Farmacy Beauty – Green Clean (Tea Harvest Trio – Limited Edition) – $49
- It’s a part of the Green Clean family – I enjoyed how well it worked but the scent collection is not my favorite.
- I Dew Care – Here’s to Clearing Clay – $20
- This is on my maybe list because it was less mess than a washable mask however I’m not sure if I saw the results I really wanted to see from a clearing skin sheet mask. It did fit well on my face.
- I Dew Care – Let’s Get Sheet Faced – $27
- I like it – affordable. Just did not fit my face well enough. I don’t like to spend money on sheet masks other than ones that specifically hydrate my skin.
- Hero Cosmetics – Invisible Mighty Patch – $5~
- If you don’t know by now – these are my favorite patches for daytime use and great to pull all the gunk out.
- Peach & Lily – Copper Peptide Pro Firming Serum – $49
- Other Products::
- Hum Nutrition – Celery Juice Fiber Gummies – $20
- These are great fiber gummies to help me regulate but also increase my daily fiber intake as well.
- Hum Nutrition – SOS PMS Gummies – $26
- These gummies helped me out a lot pre and post PMS to regulate moods during that time of the month. It also helped with slight cramping problems.
- Smashbox – Photo Finish Primer – $16
- I enjoyed this primer – similar texture to the supergroup unseen sunscreen. Summer months it’s a bit shiny however winter months it’s perfect. Blurs out my pores really well too
- Tower 28 Beauty – Mascara – $20
- This mascara is probably the only one I’ve seen results that lengthen and volumizing my lashes because my lashes do not play well with anything on them so they always feel weighted down.
- Hum Nutrition – Celery Juice Fiber Gummies – $20
