Maybe I’m actually caught up on sharing my latest empties! It’s surely a celebration! Honestly I’m looking forward to the next year this point. Although every month is an opportunity to start fresh but a new year and new ME vibes is really what I need at the moment.
Emptied 11 products with a total value of ~$377
- Body Care Products::
- Ren Skincare – Barrier Support Body Balm – $45
- This body balm felt like Vaseline but less greasy. I used this more of as a body butter/lotion because my entire body is a dry, even though it is meant for spot treatments. It’s more on the okay side for me, I would reach to it again at its full price maybe if and when it is on sale I’ll grab it.
- Curology – Acne Body Wash – $15
- This lasted me FOREVER. It’s such a thick milky consistency that a little goes a long way. I only use this on my upper back and chest hence why it look so long. I didn’t care for the packaging because it was just so difficult to squeeze product out I felt like it gave me carpal tunnel. I think if they changed to a pump style bottle it would help a but more. I ended up having to use it out of a travel tub because it was much easier. This truly did not have any fragrance so I would pick it up again minus the few annoyances.
- Beekman 1802 – Pure Goat Milk Facial Cleansing Wipes – $9
- Even though these are facial wipes – I actually used them for my body. I only use these wipes after the gym because I don’t shower at the gym. I have to walk home and sometimes I have to run errands before I get home for a shower. So these are convenient wipes to refresh and go about my day.
- Ren Skincare – Barrier Support Body Balm – $45
- Haircare Products::
- Living Proof – No Frizz Shampoo – $34
- I still enjoy this shampoo to help with the frizz. I actually rotate between my new holy grail and it’s such a great combination. Even though the other shampoo helps maintain my hair – it doesn’t hurt to give it added love from something else.
- Living Proof – No Frizz Shampoo – $34
- Skincare Products::
- Kate Somerville – Total Repair Cream – $140
- Admittedly I purchased this at TJ Maxx for only $20! It was a steal price to be honest and worth it. However at full retail I don’t think I could pull the trigger. It was really nice and amazing that I found it again at the same spot and repurchased again already. It smells like citrus (which is my go-to scent) and I noticed my forehead wrinkles faded out slowly.
- Tower 28 Beauty – SOS Spray – $28
- This is by far the best spray to combat redness and irritation. I use both on my face and body. I’ve repurchased this quite a few times and now on to their big refill and it’ll last me awhile. Of all my empties this is one I highly recommend trying.
- First Aid Beauty – Bounce-Boosting Serum – $44
- I mainly used this serum on my necklines. Probably the hardest area to combat tech-neck but it was worth a try. This is probably better for the face than the neck but as for my neck I didn’t notice any new lines and the existing lines weren’t as noticeable. It almost plumped it up a bit. I was in and out of using it consistently but it was just a nice experience to feel skin on my neck and not just the lines that I normally deal with.
- Glow Recipe – Guava Vitamin C Bright-Eye Gel Cream – $38
- I adore a Vitamin C eye cream. While I did enjoy it, I spent 50% of the bottle having to have been opened every single time because the pump could not dispense any more product. I felt like I exposed the Vitamin C more often that it may have not been good. Did I notice a change in the product texture – no. For this price, even though cute packaging – I probably would pass on purchasing myself but I’d use it again if gifted.
- The Creme Shop – Invisible Makeup Patches – $4.50
- These patches were truly invisible because I even washed my face and still didn’t realize I had it on. However if you have a white head – it’ll become noticeable. Did it do a good job with the white gunk – not really. I only used it to calm down the redness and avoided touching my face.
- Kate Somerville – Total Repair Cream – $140
- Other Products::
- Touchland – Smiley Hand Sanitizer – $10
- Probably the best hand sanitizer (on the bougie side) totally worth picking up. I only use this now because it’s so easy to use and doesn’t cause a mess and doesn’t dry out my hands. Any of the fragrances are really good. The Glow Mist has an extra ingredient that others don’t have that help the skin to nourish even more.
- KISS – Press-On Nails – $10
- You can get these at many local stores. It’ll vary anywhere from $10-$14. I really love all the designs they come out with and it’s perfect for a couple nights rather than spending an arm and leg at the nail salon. I’ll be switching back to these entirely so I don’t ruin my nail bed.
