Rapid Reviews
It was a busy January but these next few months are not going to change. Hopefully, even with my busy schedule I will have time for ME. Playing with skincare and makeup is usually the highlight of my week. I can step away from technology and focus on being in the moment.
I probably won’t see as many empties this year but I have no expectations. Just as long as I get to my favorite products is all that matters to me.
Emptied 8 products with a total value of $213
- Body Care Products::
- Osea Malibu – Undaria Algae Body Butter – $56 for 6.7 oz
- I love this rich body butter. Packed with natural citrus fragrances. Containing ingredients of Undaria Seaweed, Shea Butter, and Ceramides. I love to layer this body butter over their Body Oil. It leaves my skin feeling super luxurious and smelling amazing. Without a body oil and if applied on dry skin, it can be tough to blend well into the skin. Immediate application is key after a shower/bath.
- Sol de Janeiro – Beija Flor Elasti-Cream – $48 for 240ml (finished a sample)
- While I do enjoy the scent of this cream. I kind of wish is was a bit more supple on the skin. I need to apply a couple of layers to give the same effect as a body butter (like above). I still have plenty of more samples to try for different seasons. The summer it worked well but this winter not so great. I’ll have to update as more season changes to come.

- Hair Care Products::
- John Masters Organics – Nourishing Hair Mask w/ Rose & Apricot – $32 for 5 fl oz (finished deluxe sample)
- This was a miss for me. It didn’t do anything noticeable. It is also heavily rose fragranced. Even trying to add a touch more weighted my hair down. Not the clean finished that I would have hoped for.

- Skincare Products::
- Farmacy Beauty – Holiday Party Green Clean Trio – $46 (3 x 50 ml)
- I love Green Clean, this is a staple on my vanity! It came with three different scents: Blueberry Burst, Pear Punch, Tangerine Twist. Of all three my favorite scent is the Tangerine Twist. Although, I still prefer the original best.
- IT Cosmetics – Bye Bye Breakout Salicylic Acid Serum – $29 for 1 oz
- For an acne serum, it was just okay. It was a very liquid serum. Being that it was liquidy I don’t feel the potency level was there. I guess it was nice to help keep acne at bay but once it arises, it does nothing for my skin.
- Supergoop! – Play Everyday Lotion – $22 for 2.4 oz
- I really enjoyed this sunscreen. I was able to use it for my body and face without any issues with my acne skin. There is a noticeable scent but I did enjoy it without being overpowering. Best one I’ve tried from them thus far.
- PureDerm – Vegan Eye Mask “Collagen” – $1.29 for 30 sheets
- This did not do anything. After sometime it dried out very quickly. I definitely wasn’t expecting much for these at the price point it was being sold at. Still not worth $1 to be honest.
- Peach & Lily – Peptide Pro Firming Moisturizer – $45 for 50ml
- Literally probably the best moisturizer for my dry skin. Not only did my skin feel a lot firmer but also felt nourishing during the fall to winter months. I emptied this before our huge dry weather but even when using it during New England dry days it was enough. Very slight fragrance and not overpowering or lingering.
