I’m a bit behind but I wanted to spend some time to share my thoughts right here for my very special followers. It was a slow month for me. I was not in the mental space to do more self care days. November is different, I’ll be super busy and so I hope I can still bring you love and joy to my content. But back to the main reason we are here: Reviews on my Empties of October 2022.
Total Empties – 14

- Cerave – Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser – $15.99 full size
- I really enjoyed this cleanser very much. While the scent threw me off for a bit when I first tried it, I got used to it and it was not anything that you would be scared about. The fact that it was perfect for all temperatures and degrees (I took it to New England, Cancun, and humid NYC) it just worked so well on my skin. While I never used it to remove makeup, it was a great follow up to a first cleanse. Amazing a first morning cleanse because of how gentle it was. I seriously was able to use it daily and never had a problem. I also loved the fact that it foamed up just enough and never dried out my skin.
- First Aid Beauty – Hydrating Serum – $40
- I’m not usually a fan of a milky type hydrating serum but this was more on the liquidy side, so I really enjoyed it. There was absolutely no fragrance. I was able to put into the fridge and gave it more of a cool effect. I was able to use this morning and night routine, and it was enough for my spring to summer skin. I ran out of this before the true fall weather hit. This is although on the pricier side.
- Supergoop! – Glow Screen – $20 mini
- In enjoyed this sunscreen because of the fact it gave me some color. I mean color like I looked more alive. Even in the sun I can look pale or feel pale and this was just perfect for an even look – especially if you don’t want a full mineral makeup look.
- Beekman 1802 – Pure Milk Wipes – $9
- I’ve reviewed this quite a few times but these are great for post-workout refresher.
- Peach Slices – Dark Spot Microdarts – $8.99
- Reviewed many times previously.
- The Good Patch – Dream – $12
- Reviewed many times previously.
- Touchland – Beach Coco Sanitizer – $10
- Reviewed many times previously. This particular scent give me Island Vibes – so I loved it!
May Repurchase:
- Cocokind – Revitalizing Eye Cream – $18.99
- The eye cream did feel nourishing but nothing more than that. I’d love for it to be more but for the price point it is understandable. I couldn’t use the mini-fridge for this product because when I did the product became so thick, I couldn’t even push it out of the packaging – this goes to 90% of their product line that I’ve tried unforunately
- Beekman 1802 – Bloom Cream – $18 mini
- This was a nice light-weight cream. I just couldn’t see myself using it even during the summer without reapplication mid-day. When I’m traveling to warmer climates, maybe.
- Jurlique – Softening Body Lotion – $43
- This product is heavily rose scented. I think the level of nourishment for my dry skin isn’t too bad but I always felt like I needed by body serum to give that extra oumph. I was able to use on my body acne area without any irritation or creation of new acne.
- Vegamour – Gro Lash Serum – $80
- Yes, this lash serum did work. It’s in my maybe pile because it’s just pricey for the length time it can remain open for (6 months max) and you don’t notice results for 3-4 months. Everyone’s experience will be the same. It did not irritate my eye – it is made for sensitive eyes.
- Amika – Normcore Shampoo & Conditioner – $21
- There was nothing exciting about both samples that made me rush to buy the full size conditioner. I do however have the full size Shampoo – but I’m not going to share my thoughts on it fully.
Not Repurchasing:
- Banila Co – Zero Cleansing Balm – $27
- If you’ve been following my reviews on Instagram – you would know my thoughts as to why I’m rating this here. I will link it again – Review
- Peach Slices – Peach Pudding Makeup Cleanser – $9.99
- I barely talked about this besides from my day one experience. This was very lotion like. I don’t think it works well even just to remove sunscreen or day to day grime TBH. My skin always felt like it had a film while I was trying to wash it off. I never felt clean after use. My first cleanse should always make me feel 80% clean before I go onto the next cleanser because my second cleanse can sometimes be a physical exfoliant. I’d rather a micellar water than this – even though I hate micellar water cleansers.
