Might I say October was a successful month. I emptied quite a few products – skin care, hair care, and body care. So much so that some that I emptied were my favorites too. Hopefully I’ll return to them one day. In the meantime, I want to share my thoughts on everyone of them. You can shop them as well if you are interested.
- Youth to the People – Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamin Cleanser – $12 for 2 fl oz
- This cleanser smells very earthy because of the greens. It acts as a gentle cleanser on the skin which doesn’t dry out. Can be used to remove makeup – never really used it for that purpose but always as a second cleanser or as a morning cleanser. Suds up very well even with just a tiny amount.
- Farmacy Beauty – Green Clean Cleansing Balm – $34 for 3.4 fl oz
- I have reviewed this cleansing balm quite a few times. By far the best! I would not purchase any other with my own money to replace this. Besides the fact I have only tried other Cleansing Oils and not Balms – when you find something you really love why replace it.
- HeyHoney – Relax! Propolis & Honey Soothing Moisturizer – $3 for 0.34 fl oz (sample size)
- I have use multiple sample sizes of this moisturizer. It is such a great soothing moisturizer because it helps my morning redness and doesn’t pill with any sunscreen. It has this nice lightweight scent and texture – I really just can’t get over it. Soothing enough for the summer and winter use.
- NeoGen – Double Vita Drop in Serum – $24 for 1.69 fl oz
- The purpose of this serum is to brighten and hydrating your skin. I really enjoyed this Vitamin C serum a lot. It was not a potent level but enough to use throughout the summer and into fall. I definitely noticed my skin brighten and stay hydrated throughout the day.
- Dr. Jart+ – Biome Eye Cream – $30 for 0.67 fl oz
- By far the best eye cream I have ever used. I love a pump style which provides just enough product for my eye area. It brightens and hydrates – doesn’t irritate my eye at all. I haven’t found a good replacement just yet.
- H2O+ – Hydration Oasis Creamy Foaming Cleanser – $28 for 4 fl oz
- As a hydrating cleanser it is really amazing. Doesn’t dry out my skin and a little goes a long way. If you put too much it might take a bit longer to wash off. Perfectly paired on nights that I use retinol. They do make a sensitive skin version so if you want something hydrating I would look into this one.
- Peach Slices Sheet Masks – $2.49 per Sheet Mask
- Strawberry – this one irritated my skin so I wasn’t able to use it
- Blueberry – didn’t stay on my face properly kept sliding off so I trashed this as well.
- MediHeal EGT Timetox Ampoule Mask – $2 per Sheet Mask – this was really nice I’ve used it previously
- Dr. Jart+ Focus Point Blemish Micro Tip Patch – $18 for 6 patches – I enjoyed these patches for under skin bumps, the following morning it would disappear.
- Aveda – Damage Remedy – $30 for 3.4 fl oz
- This was very liquidy over time. I had it a bit longer than expiration date. I enjoyed it a lot when I had color and heat damage. I just added as an additional layer to help.
- Dry Bar – Hot Toddy – $16 for 1.7 fl oz
- Most of my products have some heat protectant but I wanted to have extra. This came in very handy. I enjoyed the scent of this product and didn’t leave any sticky feeling.
- Briogeo – Scalp Revival Mask – $14 for 2 fl oz
- The scalp is nice but I didn’t have the patience in the shower every time, soo it took me longer. It is good for deep scalp treatment. I don’t feel I need it consistently.
- Remilia Hair – Cosmocap Daily Hair Serum – $27 for 30 capules
- These capsules are very nice. They are biodegradable. Smelt amazing. It can get pricey in comparison to bottles of hair serums. I would still repurchase but more for when I need it to travel with.
- Aquaphor – Itch Relief Ointment – $6.99 for 1 fl oz
- I’m sad I empty this right before the weather change. I enjoyed this so much because I suffer year round itchy skin. Since I’ve used it, I’ve noticed less itchiness. It even helped with mosquitoes bites too.
- Clindamycin Phosphate Lotion (doctor prescribed) $45 for 60ml
- Pyunkang Yul – ATO Lotion Blue Label – $23 for 8.2 fl oz
- I loved this body lotion so much. It was unscented and not overly thick texture. The pump didn’t work from day one unfortunately. It’s okay I was able to empty it quickly. I’d repurchase this.
- Differin Gel – Adapalene Gel – $16.49 for 0.5 oz
- Always use this to help keep my back acne at bay. This is a must need. Never will be replacing this.
- PanOxyl – Acne Foaming Wash – $11.99
- I use to use this all the time up until I got the new Hero Cosmetics body collection. I probably won’t be purchasing this again because it does bleach my towels after use.
- Fekkai – Shea Butter & Intense Oil – $28 for 1.7 fl oz
- i realize I need an oil as extra hydration. Another product I’m sad emptying but I’m sure I can find a replacement because this is a bit expensive.
