Hair care is just as important as skincare. Sometimes we forget about it because we’ll many of us put it in a ponytail and forget about it. I did that for the longest time but I noticed how dead my hair really was. I was fed up with it and went to get a much needed haircut. I was overdue for a haircut anyway – it had been over 3 years I think.
Ever since my hair cut I promised that I would do anything to keep my hair healthy. The following products you will read below have been a part of my routine for the last couple of months.
I use it in the following order as well:
IGK Hydrating Hair Balm : $29 for 5 fl. oz – I use this product to control my frizz, hydrates, and add shine. Smells like coconut. Doesn’t leave any sticky residue behind. I apply this from root to ends.
FoxyBae 12-in-1 Magic Daily Leave-In Hair Mask : $12.95 for 8 fl. oz – In addition to the benefits of IGK, it repairs damage hair, prevents split ends, protect healthy scalp and ends. Again apply this from roots to ends.
Dry Bar Hot Toddy Heat Protectant Lotion : $30 for 3.4 fl. oz – I use this as a last hair application. The protect literally tells you what it does in the title. Protects hair from heat (up to 450 degrees) and UVA/UVB exposure, preventing damage and color fading. The scent has notes of jasmine, sandalwood, and Madagascar vanilla. I use this right before I blow dry my hair.
Even with small travel sizes it has lasted me awhile. I only of course use on hair wash days.
